Why verification matters
Indiana Marketplace is a B2B platform. Buyers rely on us to ensure sellers are legitimate businesses. Verification protects both sides from fraud and builds trust in every transaction.
Verification levels
We have three verification tiers:
- Email Verified — basic account verification (all users)
- Business Verified — documents submitted and checked
- Premium Verified — full background and compliance check
Documents required for Business Verification
- GST Registration Certificate
- PAN Card (business or proprietor)
- Company registration document (if applicable)
- At least one utility bill or bank statement as address proof
How long does verification take?
Document review typically completes within 2–3 business days. Premium Verified (available on Enterprise plan) includes a background check and takes 5–7 business days.
What happens after verification?
Verified sellers receive a badge on their profile and product listings. This badge is visible to buyers and significantly increases trust and enquiry rates.
Verified sellers receive on average 60% more leads than non-verified sellers in the same category.
