Our commitment to data security
Indiana Marketplace uses industry-standard security practices to protect all data on our platform. We are committed to full compliance with the IT Act, 2000 and applicable data protection guidelines.
Data encryption
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. Sensitive fields (passwords, payment data) are encrypted at rest using AES-256. We do not store payment card data — all payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors.
What data do we collect?
- Account information (name, email, phone)
- Business details (name, address, GST/PAN for verification)
- Usage data (pages visited, search queries) for improving recommendations
- Communication data (messages in lead threads) for dispute resolution
Do we sell your data?
No. We never sell or rent your personal or business data to third parties. Buyer contact details are only shared with sellers when a buyer initiates an enquiry.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, update or delete your account at any time from Account Settings → Privacy. For data requests, contact privacy@indianamarketplace.in.
